NECO Timetable 2026 for Arts Students
The National Examinations Council (NECO) has officially released the 2026 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) Internal timetable. Arts and Humanities students can now view the complete examination schedule for Literature in English, Government, Civic Education, Christian Religious Studies (CRS), Islamic Studies (IRS), Nigerian Languages, French, Arabic, Music, Visual Arts, and English Language.
Candidates should carefully note practical, oral, and aural examination dates, as some subjects require attendance at designated examination venues approved by NECO.

Important Notes for Arts and Humanities Students
Nigerian Languages Include Literature
Candidates offering Hausa, Igbo, or Yoruba should note that the literature component is integrated into the examination papers. Students are expected to prepare for both language and literature sections.
Visual Arts Candidates Must Receive Design Brief Early
NECO requires schools to provide candidates with the Visual Arts Creative Design brief at least one week before the examination date. This allows students enough time to prepare concepts and ideas before the actual examination.
Confirm Oral and Aural Examination Venues
Candidates offering:

should confirm their examination venues through their schools and NECO State Offices, as some oral and aural examinations may be conducted at centralized centres.
