PTDF Scholarship 2026 Requirements

Undergraduate Applicants

  • Must be full-time students in a Nigerian public university
  • Must be in 200 level
  • Minimum CGPA of 2.4/5.0 (Second Class Lower)
  • 5 credits in WAEC/SSCE/NECO, including English and Mathematics
  • Admission letter
  • Academic transcript
  • Certificate of indigeneship
  • 300-word personal statement

Master’s Applicants

  • Full-time admission into a public university
  • Minimum Second Class Lower (2:2) in oil & gas-related field
  • NYSC certificate or exemption
  • Certificate of indigeneship
  • 1,000-word personal statement

PhD Applicants

  • Full-time admission into a public university
  • Minimum 2:2 in first degree
  • Merit in a master’s degree (oil & gas related)
  • NYSC certificate or exemption
  • Certificate of indigeneship
  • Research proposal (maximum 6 pages) relevant to oil and gas industry
