Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC) Admission Form 2026/2027 – 13th Regular Course

The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State, has announced the commencement of applications for admission into its 13th Regular Course Degree Programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Qualified Nigerian youths are invited to apply within the approved application window.

Key Admission Highlights

  • Application period: 3rd June – 15th July, 2026
  • Minimum JAMB score required: 180 (2026 UTME only)
  • Must select Nigeria Police Academy as First Choice in JAMB
  • Age requirement: 16–21 years (by 31st October 2026)
  • Minimum height: 1.67m (male), 1.64m (female)
  • Screening fee: ₦6,000 + ₦2,000 (Post-UTME Exam)
  • Applicants must be unmarried and not pregnant
  • Combined Academic & Police training for 5 years

POLAC Admission Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be Nigerian by birth
  • Possess a valid National Identity Number (NIN)
  • Score at least 180 in the 2026 UTME
  • Have a minimum of 6 O’Level credits in not more than two sittings, including English and Mathematics
  • Be medically, physically, and psychologically fit

Additional Physical Requirements

  • Minimum chest measurement of 86cm (34 inches) for males
  • Valid email address and phone number
  • SSCE results before 2023 are not accepted

Nature and Duration of Training

Admitted candidates will undergo a five-year combined academic and police training programme, leading to:

  • Award of a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Commissioning as Assistant Superintendent of Police II (ASP II)

Method of Application

  1. Visit the official Nigeria Police Academy PORTAL.
  2. Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code.
  3. Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦6,000 plus ₦2,000 for the Post-UTME examination.
  4. Upload scanned copies of:
    • SSCE Result
    • Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
    • Certificate of Origin
  5. Print the completed online form and submit as directed.
