About NNPC – Renaissance JV University Scholarship 2026
The NNPC – Renaissance JV University Scholarship 2026 is a merit-based scholarship designed to promote academic excellence among Nigerian undergraduates.
The Renaissance African Energy Company Limited, operator of the NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture, sponsors this initiative.
The scholarship provides financial support yearly until the completion of the undergraduate programme.
Categories of the Scholarship
The NNPC Renaissance JV University Scholarship is divided into two categories:
National Merit Award (NM)
Open to all Nigerian students regardless of state of origin.
Areas of Operation Merit Award
Open only to indigenes of Renaissance operational areas in:
- Bayelsa State
- Delta State
- Imo State
- Rivers State
Applicants for this category must provide additional community verification letters.
NNPC JV University Scholarship Requirements
To meet the NNPC Scholarship 2026 requirements, applicants must do the following:
- Be citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
- Be registered FULL-TIME undergraduates in an accredited Nigerian university
- Be in 200 Level
- Have proof of admission for the 2024/2025 academic session
- Not be beneficiaries of any other oil and gas industry scholarship
- Provide required academic and identification documents
These are the official NNPC JV university scholarship requirements for 2026.
Required Application Documents
Applicants must upload clear scanned copies of the following:
- Recent passport photograph (white background, not more than 3 months old, 450px by 450px)
- School ID card
- University or JAMB admission letter (UTME or Direct Entry)
- JAMB result
- 100-level transcript (2024/2025 result)
- Letter of identification from the state (showing the local government of Origin)
For operational area awards, additional letters must be signed and stamped by:
- The Paramount Ruler of the Community
- The Chairman of the Community Development Committee (CDC or CEC)
Each document must not exceed 200KB and must be in JPEG format.
Important Selection Notes
- The application is completely FREE.
- Renaissance and its JV partners do not assign agents.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for a computer-based test.
- Only successful candidates will be contacted at each stage.
